Bruce Behrstock informed us of the sad news that Howard Rudolf passed away on Father's Day of 2015. We are saddened to see another classmate pass way too early.
I got to know Howard in my senior year and he was a really nice guy. I remember that he lived around the corner from Carl's hot dogs off 83rd Street. It was really sad to hear that he just passed away. He was among the many people that I looked forward to seeing at the reunion.
Several years before entering SSHS, Howard, like Barry Gadlin, was my little league baseball teamate on the "Orioles". Howard's playing demeanor was quite relaxed, talented, both filled with joy, and a joy to be around. Truth-be-told, as his sometimes catcher, I envied his skill. Rest in peace Howard.

Actually, Howie passed on Saturday 6/20.
We were best friends in High School. Howie was on the South Shore Baseball team.
My deepest condolences go out to his widow, Linda, and son Marty.
