the last time I saw Beverly was the high holiday services about 10 years ago.i received an alumni magazine from NIU several years ago and it stated that she had passed away.i am not sure but she may have died from cancer.i know she became a teacher but I don't know where.

Bev was teaching in Shaumburg area- grade school. I had reconnected with her for a few years, but then we seem to have gone our separate ways.  It was a shock to hear she was gone.  Makes me so sorry we didn't stay in touch.

Bev was a wonderful friend. We lived across the street from each other and were roommates at Northern. She was in my wedding as well. We lost touch after a number of years of writing . If we had cell phones then I think we would have stayed in touch. I saw in Northern's magazine that she died in 2007.

Beverly was a wonderful friend and dear person.   Although we pretty much lost touch when we graduated, every year I think fondly of her on her birthday (probably because it's exactly a month after mine).  She was always so thoughtful and encouraging.  Reading here that she was teaching in Schaumberg, I am certain she shared those wonderful, hopeful qualities with the many lives she taught and touched.

The fact that I seem to know more of our deceased classmates than surviving makes me more keenly aware of the irreplaceable preciousness of each moment we do have together.
